In reality there has probably never been a more profitable time to be a freebies searcher. Obviously, tracking down freebies is fun. Who doesnt enjoy getting freestuff mailed to them such as jelly beans, cookies, mouthwash samples, cosmetics, vouchers and similiar freebies simply by filling out a (usually) short survey?
If you already have a website or just want one, you may find free web hosting companies, free web blog hosts like Bravenet and free webmaster resources such as software, backgrounds, free polls, graphics and free content like articles and RSS for your site, hit counters and many other freebies you usually just need to go
to one of the top search engines like Yahoo and type in "free something" and what you want will usually come up.
That is the catch. There is no such thing as a free lunch. The ones that offer these freebies use them so that you
will remember who gave it to you and then buy something from them later. They also will of course have your personal data from the
freebie form and will thus have some kind of crude profile about you.
This is not as a rule a bad thing, though, as many people appreciate being updated regarding products that they are
